Teach Darija and keep what you earn
'kilma' takes 3 € per lesson. As an amount, never a percentage, in every price tier. Here is what that means for your hourly rate, your hours and your preparation.
Most platforms take a share of your work, and that share grows as you do. 'kilma' takes a fixed amount instead: 3 € per lesson. On a 14 € lesson, 11 € is yours. Raise your rate and the 3 € stays 3 €.
What a lesson leaves you
- Regular lesson, 14 €: you keep 11 €.
- Introductory price in the 30 days after a learner's first lesson, 10 €: you keep 7 €.
- Senior teacher lesson, 16 €: you keep 13 €.
- Trial lesson, 25 minutes for 5 €: you keep all of it.
The split is public. Your students see the same numbers on the homepage, so nobody has to explain where the money goes.
Your students arrive prepared
'kilma' is a vocabulary trainer and a classroom on one learning record. Learners practise between lessons, and you open the room already seeing what they studied, how the last homework went and which words gave them the most trouble over 30 days.
At the end of a lesson you hand over homework in one click. The learner solves it in the app, and the result is there before you meet again. Grammar sits on words they already use, so there is less to repeat and more to say.
What we ask
- Darija as a native or near native speaker, taught through English, French, Spanish, German or Italian.
- A complete profile: teaching languages, weekly hours, a photo and an identity document.
- A live conversation with us and one trial lesson.
- A calendar you keep current, and rare cancellations.
The language test for your teaching language is voluntary. It takes around 15 minutes online plus a speaking task on your phone, and B1 or higher goes on your profile as a tested level.
You set your own hours, learners book you directly, and your profile shows what was tested and what you stated yourself. Apply at kil.ma/teach, or write to teach@kil.ma with your questions. We answer within two working days.
