Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy a vocabulary pack or seats for group classes on kil.ma. They are the contract between you and the operator of this site. Seats for group classes have their own section below; one-to-one lessons are arranged separately.
Who you are buying from
Stefan Dissmer, trading as KILMA Lingua, C/ Llacuna 162-164, 08018 Barcelona, Spain, NIE X4958335H. Email dissmer@gmail.com, telephone +34 637 416 117. The full provider information is on the imprint page.
What you are buying
A vocabulary pack is a fixed set of words. Its contents are frozen when the pack is made, so a pack you buy today keeps the words it had at that moment, even if the rest of the catalogue changes later.
- A pack is digital content. Nothing is shipped and nothing is printed.
- A pack is tied to one kilma account and is not transferable.
- A pack does not expire. It stays in your account for as long as the account exists.
- Buying a pack does not include lessons, teacher time or any personal support.
How a purchase is made
You choose one or more packs, confirm the order, and pay on the payment page of our payment provider. The contract comes into effect when the payment is confirmed. Before you pay you see the packs, the total price and this page.
You do not need an account to buy. If you buy without one, we create an account for the email address you use for payment and send you a link to set a password. If that address already belongs to an account, the packs go to that account.
Prices and payment
- All prices are final prices in euro. Taxes, where they apply, are included; nothing is added at the end.
- Payment is handled by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We never see or store your card details.
- Your bank may convert the amount into another currency and charge for that. That is between you and your bank.
Delivery
Packs are unlocked in your account as soon as the payment is confirmed — usually within seconds. If something goes wrong on our side, the order stays open and is delivered automatically as soon as it can be; if that fails, we contact you.
Because you receive the content immediately, you are asked to agree to immediate delivery before you pay, and to acknowledge that this ends your right of withdrawal. The withdrawal page explains exactly what that means.
Group classes
In a group class, one teacher teaches a fixed group of two to four learners. You buy seats: one seat covers your place in one group class.
- A seat costs €8, or €9 when the teacher of the group holds senior status. You see the price before you pay. It is the same however many learners attend.
- Seats belong to your kilma account, not to one group, and they do not expire.
- One seat is used for each group class you are booked into: when you attend, when you do not attend, and when you cancel less than 24 hours before the start.
- You can cancel your place in a single group class free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. If you leave the group, your upcoming group classes are released free of charge.
- If you have no seat left 24 hours before a group class, your place in that class is released free of charge. Your balance never goes below zero.
- If the teacher or we cancel a group class, no seat is used.
- A group class takes place as long as at least one learner attends. The price per seat stays the same.
A group class is a service on a booked date. Before you pay, you are asked to agree that the service may begin right away and to acknowledge that this ends your right of withdrawal once the service begins. The withdrawal page explains exactly what that means.
If something is wrong
If a pack does not work as described, you have the legal rights of conformity under Spanish consumer law (RDL 1/2007). Write to dissmer@gmail.com and describe the problem — we will fix it or refund you. These rights are yours by law and nothing on this page limits them.
What we can and cannot promise
- We keep the site and your packs available with reasonable care, but no online service is available without interruption.
- Learning progress depends on you. We do not promise a level, a result or an exam grade.
- We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health, and otherwise as Spanish law provides.
Your account
Keep your login to yourself. If you think someone else has access, write to us and we will help you secure the account. We may close an account that is used to attack the service or to resell content, and we will say why.
Complaints and disputes
Write to dissmer@gmail.com first — most things are settled that way. You may also use the official consumer complaint form (hoja de reclamación) available from the consumer authorities of Catalonia. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025, so there is no link to it here.
Applicable law
Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer resident in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country. Nothing here takes that away.
Changes
We may change these terms for future purchases. The version you saw when you bought a pack is the one that applies to that purchase.
